The question you should be asking is "Why is Propecia so f*****g expensive?" It doesn't cost much to manufacture drugs. Finpecia is fine, I used it for months, and if you used the search function, you will find literally dozens of threads on the topic.

i still cant belive merk is chargin so much for propecia, i saw on wallgreens it cost 68 dollars for 30 pills. are they kidding me, if they sold the drug for a reasonable price say 20-30 dollars they would have a lot more people buying it then just buyin proscar. the drug is 10 years old now and still cost the same as when it first came out give me a break. thats y i refuse to buy propecia and just buy proscar or generics. you can freakin buy a year supply of fincar for that price and not have to go through all that bullshit with picking up prescription and seeing a doctor who has no clue about hairloss, belive me if you do your research from some of the most knowledgeable people on this site aka bryan you will learn 10 times more then the average doctor about hairloss, most have an old school approach to hairloss.

Ya that is pretty funny. Merk probably figures most men using propecia have decent incomes middle class or higher, and will pay the prices out of concern for there hair. You cant say merk is wrong im sure they are making some money off it. That being said proscar is the same drug so obviously aside from the 5 year study and the research leading up to the 5 year study propecia had a much lower r&d cost then most typical drugs. So how 10 years later they are charging the same price is really beyond me. Oh wait its because the pharmaceutical companies run congress more then americans do. Those companies get away with anything they want. Have you seen prices of cancer drugs? its like 50 dollars a day. How on earth do they justify those prices? There isnt any amount of research in the world worth that price especially when u die 6 months later anyways. Some of these drugs really are just a joke its just them reaching for some clinically significant result, No wonder pharm companies have one of the worst public images out of most professions is it that big a mystery?
