Some dogs MOST DEFINITELY suffer from hair loss. Do an internet search.

There's a term "Alopecia X" used by vets., etc. Plus the many infectious reasons dogs lose hair. Same for immune system problems/reactions in some dogs.

What in the world made you think dogs don't (sometimes) lose their hair?

Hormone reactions in ALL mammals can cause hair loss for Godsakes. It may be for different reasons and even different hormones but it can happen in all mammals. And don't rule out infectious reasons that (sometimes) cause ANY mammal to lose his/her hair.

Maybe you meant it happens more often in humans? :wink:
