Why Doesn't It Blend Well? Went To Hairdresser Specialised On Hairpieces

Apart from the color which I will get fixed.



Went to the only hairdresser who cuts hairpieces in. I guess I am doomed as there just is noone else to go to in my country.Why doesn't it blend well? To my eye it seems obvious. Is there the infamous blunt line seperating original hair and hairpiece hair? I felt it was better before I went hair, but I needed a haircut as my original hair got longer than piece hair.

She seems to know all this vertical cutting and thinning shears thing and I've got good blends from her before. I don't get it

What went wrong again?

Or is it still mainly color and density problem?

Dude,, you need extra light density

doesn't transition, and blend well.

Color is off as well. Need ash in your systems.


Doesn't look natural, to wiggy.


System, and hair should blend in, avoid having the faded sides, because it makes it look even more obvious that it's not your natural hair.

Like 4 cm-s. A bit longer than hairpiece hair and that's why i went in for a haircut For some reason the girl thought i wanted a modern short sides and back haircut i guess. She thought i went there to get an actual new haircut and wanted to impress me or smth. Because of that she also cut the hairpiece even shorter now, damn it. Communication problems. What I actually wanted was to get rid of the extra length my own hair had grown compared to the hairpiece hair.

Hopefully it will blend better if my own hair grows. Right now own hair is 1 cm and hairpiece almost 3 cm.

And my next base is going to be 1 cm less area from the back, so I need a longer haircut to do the transfer. f***. Hopefully there's still room to grow.

I am surprised that an experienced cut in person would do such a thing. It may improve as your hair grows out but the piece will have a shortened life

So a better bet would be to find a high-iq random hairdresser and show him/her the videos of how hairpiece cut-ins are done. Can't imagine flying to London every 3 weeks to get a haircut.

so i've let it grow for 10 days now and i discovered that combing with hairspray or gel helps with blending, but i will have a line of hairspray on the back sides then. less weird than hair going into different directions i guess. i think it's better

i think but I only took it for 3 days I got morning ererctions aslo ererctions when i am sleeping even if its a nap
