why doesnt finasteride work for some?

i forgot what was the name of that test, but it determined whether or not finasteride would work for you. now, my question is, if we have a semi-decent knowledge on the effects of DHt, and we have drugs that can stop the conversion of DHT, then why does finasteride not work for some people? im sure there is a myriad of reasons. but what are you (educated) theories?

Thats interesting, I did not know there was a test that would let you know if finasteride 1mg would work for you hair loss wise. Anyone else know the name of it?
