Why Does Greasy Hair Look Like Thinner Or Looks Like It's Balding?

I have very greasy hair, I have to wash it every 2 or 3 days and i noticed that when my hair gets greasy it looks like I'm balding, my whole scalp shines through it, but when i wash it and blow dry it looks thick and full. Which is the correct one? The greasy thin limp looking hair or the clean hair after the shower when it dries?

The hair starts sticking together. Wash it everyday, at most every other.

Honestly speaking I never really paid attention to my hair at all until last year. So don't know if I was like this before or not? I can post some picks of my hair from now and 2 or 3 years ago if you want?

Maybe... It can vary, cause different people can have different hair texture.

If your hair dry and scalp itch, it can be seborrheic dermatitis. Try nizoral and egg mask with castor oil 3x/week. Add finasteride/dutasteride + minoxidil, if your hair is thinning in typical male pattern baldness pattern.

I have barely any itch, I used to have a super itchy and dandruffy scalp when I kept my 'fro as a mid-teen and I sure as sh*t wasn't balding then because I was a thick NW0. Now that I keep my hair medium length, I barely have any dandruff and itch (at NW0.5-1).
