I have been reading a little on the patterns on hairloss lately and I am a little curios about why my hairloss pattern doesn't fit anyone in my family.
I have some balding in my family. My grandfather started to become bald when he was 22-24. But only slowly receding to something between Type IIIa and Type IVa. But no crown loss and his hair was quite thick and slick all his life. My dads dad started receding in his 40ties and ended up norwood 7 at 80 or so..but I have seen pictures of him in his 60ties with Type IIIa. But my dad had thick hair in his 50ties and my uncle is slowly losing some in the temple. The rest of my family hasn't even past type Type II or Type III when they died in their 80ties
But for me it started this spring/summer with a thinning hairline that have become thinned all over the norwood 7 area, and i just turned 24.
There is some articles that claim hairloss gene can collaborate, like start like one in the family and have the pattern of another , do anyone have any knowledge of this?
I no the answers don't really mater, but its a little interesting to know since I really wonder where I got my hairloss from.
