I just bought a year's supply of foam form $120 on eBay...that's 33 cents a day...I think even the most starving student can afford that

I complain about the fact that the foam level in the cap starts to evaporate right as soon as I fill it. I'll put it in and could stand there for 30 seconds and watch it go down halfway. Anyone else have this problem? I end up having to use the last quarter or so of the cup as just a liquidy foam rather than a more solid one.

Every case is different, lets see

Rogaine foam on ebay 12month.......... $137
Shipping to portugal.......... $51.55

$188,55
Its acceptable when a bottle of liquid minoxidil here is $60 (PURE ROBBERY) but wait..
Portugal costums are fucked. If they intercept the package i have to pay

Costum tax.......... $15
IVA tax ......... 21% value of product... 0.21*188.55 = $40
Total = $188.55 + $15 + $40

$243,55
Still acceptable, but don't call it cheap :p

I don't know if spain has foam. Portugal hasn't.

But i wrote the worst scenario possible. When shipped by USPS, the package seems hardly to get stopped by Portugal costums.

in this case $188,55
if i bougth here 12 month and liquid.. $720

So i'm happy with internet

When you have diffuse thinning all over, that cap full isn't cutting it- especially when trying to do it twice a day. I use a bottle a week. In the commercial, the dude is using that amount for only the vertex of his head. I can't help but get much of it caught in my hair cuz I'm not balding, just diffusing.

"youre not balding just diffusing" what the hell do you think diffusing is.

and you are using WAY too much

I pay 43 euros for 75ml of Minoxidil 5% in Portugal. Its a robbery. Unfortunately i dont have credit card to use with paypal and i dont know any online pharmacy that sells minoxidil via Western Union.

Life sucks...

Ok, so how do I get it all over my head? I have kinda thick curly hair with no balding areas, just looks like trees are missing evenly in a forest? No way can the amount prescribed get all over my scalp with my type of hair and thinning...even on towel dried hair.

hmm, that's weird.

You pour it in the cap? maybe that's the problem. I pump out a half-cap sized ball onto my fingers and it's ever so *slightly* turning to liquid by the time I'm done. And I do my front and back in that time.

I'm sure it's still pretty effective as a liquid at the end i mean it's the same stuff ya know? But I don't know how I'd apply it to a diffuse area from my fingers. I don't think I'd apply it anywhere close to evenly

The same happens to me in summer JayMan. It doesn't happen in winter.

The solution is to put the bottle in the fridge 5 mins before application and you won't see it evaporate.

However, I am not sure if storing the bottle in the fridge for 5 mins per day damages the product. Whats the temperature in a fridge and can you store the bottle at that temperature on a permanent basis?

I found that if you keep the bottle in a warmer place it evaporates quicker.. if you keep it cool then it stays like regular mouse.

So i keep it in a good cool place and haven't had any problems.

Besides the fridge, my whole house seems to have the same hot temperature of 75-90F in summer (above recommended storage temperature sme posted from the package if I rrmember right).

In winter, this is never a problem and the foam is like gel.

Why not apply the stuff directly to your head and forget about the cap? It is easy to control the amount that comes out with a little practice. This way you can blast it right under most your hair directly on the scalp.

I found when trying to squish in the ball of foam it mostly was caught in my hair.
