Hi,I just want to know why even people without male pattern baldness shed shorter and thinner hairs, and also hairs with lighter pigment.

everyone, even those without androgenic alopecia, lose density. don't remember the exact name, but it is age related thinning and according to dr. proctor, it's about 1% "loss" a year. so i guess that's why even non male pattern baldness people experience miniaturization of hairs.

How is that NOT male pattern baldness? Androgenetic alopecia, by defenition is progressive thinning of the hair. its just AA at a much slower rate. Same thing as a 'maturing' hairline. That's bullshit, it's still male pattern baldness (Since your temples are probably the most sensitive to androgens) but in some men, the rest of their hair is resistant to AA.

because it is uniform and happens to everyone. regardless of genetics. it happens all over your head; front, back, top, sides etc.

according to dr. proctor, you lose about 1% of density a year.
