Is there a reason?

Just branding I guess?

But yeah it's at least twice as much as Kirkland or Spectral UHP!

I guess people just know the brand Rogaine so well now they don't even consider that it's just minoxidil and any 5% minoxidil product will do the same job.

But yeah that's all :)

How much is it in UK? It costs less than 20 bucks a month in the US. I think it is very reasonable.

Ah yeah maybe it's only pricey in the UK. It was like.. I dunno, £20 or something for a month's supply. I guess it's cheaper if I look around or buy from America.

I'll probably just stick with Spectral and Kirkland and stuff. Is there actually any reason to choose Rogaine over them?

I use cheap liquid minoxidil (Spectral and Kirkland) in the evening, but I'm willing to pay 3 times as much for Rogaine foam to use in the morning because it's the only minoxidil that dries with barely a trace in 15mins and doesn't flake. Basically I can wear it to work without being conscious of it.

I agree liquid Regaine is an effing rip-off in the UK. I bought it from Boots for the first 6 months at £70 for 3 months, gah what a waste of cash.

Never used spectral. I tried Kirkland but had to stop because my scalp cannot tolerate PPG. I used rogaine foam briefly. I didn't like the scent.
I don't see any reason why you should choose Rogaine over Kirkland if you can tolerate PPG.

Rogaine foam is now unscented. It dries way faster than any liquid minoxidil (Kirkland, Spectral...) and doesn't flake, that's why people use it.

Buy the foam in packs. A 4 month pack costs £60, so do the math - you get the 4th bottle for free.
