And can be SURE it was the spironolactone that helped and not another treatment you were using simultaneously.

I just added topical 5% spironolactone a few weeks ago, so I will be able to tell. I was on the big3 before, but saw most of my big gains from the '3 already.

Me too,

I've used it on and off so can't tell if it's helped at all.

Have you maintained in that areas that you've applied to? spironolactone isn't for regrowth and it's not supposed to create a shed.

I'm just starting to use it again now, I'm loosing a lot of ground due to coming off the big 3 because of sides. So no have not maintained.

I use spironolactone on the hairline/temples and crown and am pretty convinced that it is helping. I do use minoxidil and finasteride, but since adding spironolactone regularly to the temples, they seem to be responding better and coming in faster. Since adding spironolactone to a slick bald spot on the crown, I've had a ton of new "peach fuzz" growth there and a bunch of random dark hairs appearing. I am not absolutely 100% certain that the spironolactone is helping, but I wouldn't change a thing in my regimen at this point due to the tremendous success I'm having.

My regimen is: 1/6 Proscar daily
2x 5% minoxidil daily (usually the foam)
5% spironolactone (Dr Lee's) 1X daily (sometimes twice daily)
Copper peptides (Tricomin or AC) after shower

I also take various supplements such as fish oils, MSM, GTE, and biotin, but I don't really consider these part of my core regimen and wouldn't be the least concerned about dropping them. I probably wouldn't be too concerned with dropping the CP's either. I would never quit finasteride, minoxidil, or spironolactone at this point.

3 years off an on - using Dr Lee 5 percent. Total waste of money IMHO. Has done nothing besides stinking up my hair. Do yourself a favor and just buy spironolactone tabs, crush them and mix them in with your nizoral. You will be saving lots of hard earned cas.
