who had success with topical spironolactone? is it any good?

I use it in conjunction with minoxidil/Xandrox 5%. I wouldn't quit using the spironolactone, but I don't know about it on it's own.

I am using topical spironolactone on its own...once a day every night...
lasts me already for 3 months (applying just on hairline) I can see new hair growth under the hairline...

where's everyone buying their spironolactone cream from???

LostWind. Glad to hear that spironolactone cream seems to be effective. Most people seem to use it in conjuntion with a few other treatments so it is interesting to get your results from someone who uses nothing else. Wondering why you don't use Nizerol shampoo with it?

I do use the 2% Nizoral shampoo

Thanks for the reply. They seem to go well together from what I've read. So your success may be due to both. Have you tried or considered any other topicals? Some people seem to be trying dutasteride made into a topical.

I just ordered not long ago Tricomin...some say it has the same effect as 2% minoxidil...

and hopefully it is so! :)

but I ordered it to have a healthy scalp!
