Which online pharmacy should I buy finestaride from?

Hey guys, so I think I'm finally accepting that I have FPHL. I want to get on finestaride because the 100 mg of spironolactone doesn't seem to be doing anything, or at least, not enough.Which pharmacy should I order from? Also, is it ok to use spironolactone and finestaride together? I also want to increase my spironolactone dose to 200 mg. I started minoxidil last week, but just 2%, I'm working myself up to 5% once a day. Any suggestions for me? Currently I'm experiencing massive shedding (~130 hairs a day.) I was hoping to avoid the dread shed by starting out slow. I've only applied 8 times, is the minoxidil even the cause of my shed or is that not enough time for it to start?

The minoxidil (Women's Lipogaine for sensitive skin) is already causing lots of flakiness, I think my seb derm is flaring up. I'm worried about this as I know seb derm is extremely persistent. What can I do?

Thanks!

Hey Labellavita1985, I'm sorry you're going through this. I'm 22 and I have Androgenetic Alopecia too.
So :
You're from the US right ? Then you can use medicalwellnesscenter. I am from Europe so I haven't tried myself,, but I've read numerous times here that they're legit.
You're using spironolactone and you want to use finasteride. According to that study : http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15012621 it is a safe combination. However I strongly recommend that you tell about it to your doctor before doing anything to your hormones. Even if he/she doesn't agree to prescribe you finasteride, he/she can still check if your body is reacting well to it.
Also : Finasteride 1mg (propecia) seems not to be efficient for women's Androgenetic Alopecia. But I have seen more studies in which women had success with 1.5mg, 2.5mg or even 5mg.
Either way I recommend you to gradually increase the dose not to "shock" your body as any shocking hormonal perturbation can lead to further hair loss.
I do not think your shedding is linked to the use of minoxidil as you just started. However if your minoxidil formula is irritating your scalp, you may want to change it to one that does not contain Propylene Glycol. Can't really help you with this as I do not use minoxidil myself. However if your scalp does not feel comfortable, aloe vera and tea tree essential oil may help !

Do not hesitate if you have any question, I hope you will find something that works to manage your hair loss :)

xoxo

Hey fellow Detroiter!! I too am sorry you're dealing with this. A couple things I would recommend would be trying 2% minoxidil foam for women. I too had flaking with the liquid. There's too much unnecessary crap in that. I have no flaking with the foam. Parisienne makes a good point - you should check out medical wellness center. They are a trusted online pharmacy that quite a few of us go through. There is a $50 prescription form you have to fill out, so make sure you like their products first. You can get all types of stuff through them, and they can compound the formulas specific to your needs. They do carry generic finasteride and dutasteride or you can get a minoxidil cream or lotion with .1% finasteride, and other compounds formulated for you. Feel free to ask as many questions as you'd like on here. Hopefully you will find a regimen that you and your scalp are happy with. :D

It seems like they should, somewhere?? Isn't dutasteride like over the counter in some European countries? Are you 100% sure on this? If so, why not get a friend in the U.S. order some, put it in another type of container and ship it to you. Man, you could get all breaking bad up in here!

Nope, no****ingwhere. With all that google homework I've done I would have found it. Yes I could have done it, but I'm paranoid with the customs, nowadays in France they are crazy. Plus the less pople I involve in this, the better !
I found a good website to get some dutasteride online and it arrived today (miiiracle).
But the rest.. for the moment China and cooking will do.

And about this Heisenberg thing.. I feel that after my degree it's gonna end up like this haha

Hey guys! Thanks so much for responding. I'll be checking out the pharmacy you recommended. So you don't think the increased shedding is from minoxidil? I feel like it has to be, especially because I'm shedding the most from the parts of my scalp where I am applying.

hey that's normal :) and it sounds rapid but I am not 100% sure it can't be minoxidil shed. People usually start to shed at week 3. Anyway if you have some shedding from minoxidil it usually means it's working so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you !
