I am 24, diffuse thinner on top. I have been exploring all the minoxidil products and not sure which one to buy for my situation. There is rogaine with different percentages and then there is Dr. Lee's Xandrox which comes in different percentages as well. In addition, you have some solutions that contain Retin-A.

I also hear some users saying they use such and such in the morning and such and such at night.

Can someone please explain all this to me and what might be best for someone in my situation. Appreciated.

I would use a 5% minoxidil as it works far better then 2%
Dr lee's xandrox has extra stuff added to it which is ment to stop hairloss
but there are no large studies to back this up, but i think hes pretty honest for a hair dr , most are just con men
I would try normal minoxidil 5% first and if that dont work after a year then maybe try dr lee's stuff
but a lot of it comes down to luck if you get regrowth
i have been on 5% minoxidil for 11 months 12.5 and 15 xandrox once a day for nearly 8 months and finasteride for near 8 months and i cant realy see any change with my hair some days i think i am regrowing the next i think i am losing
but my little brother has been on Hair-again(generic minoxidil) for 2 1/2 months and most his hair has grown back
lucky bastard

I would look at dr lee's website minoxidil.com
also a good cheap site for rogaine is cheaprogaine.com
hope this helps

Hi there, I got my minoxidil off ebay for 32 USD, four month supply. Pretty good deal I think.

Americans can buy it at Costco - Kirkland brand - no need to pay extra for Rogaine.

Thanks for all the replies. Last night I ended up buying Dr. Lee's 5% xandrox since it has the extra stuff. I figured there was no harm in that. All minoxidil is the same though right, whether its rogaine, generic, or Dr. Lee's?
