Hey guys. My hair has been thinning for a little bit, but Its just started to be noticible this year. I started propecia daily and have been on this for 4 months. I started using tricomin 2 months ago. It appears my hair is even thinner now than before. The thinnest part is in the front area, which is annoying as I see it everytime I see my reflection.

I am debating starting a minoxidil regimine. I am new to this and previously have heard just of rogaine. Now I see alot of options and am wondering which I should try. I am worried about another shed but will have to get over that.

It seems alot of people like the spectral products, however I am skeptical since they are not FDA approved. I feel they may not be held to their promises, and fear they may change their formula again without notice.

Any thoughts would be nice. I am really hoping that propecia caused a shed and it will grow back shortly, but I need to be prepared to add a stronger growth simulant than tricomin to my regiment.

Also, (sorry for the long post) how would you recommend using tricomin and another growth product simultaneously? I dont really want to replace tricomin.

Thanks alot, any help would be much appreciated

just buy some kirkland minoxidil, its cheap on amazon and see how it works for you. if you don't like it you could switch to the more expensive rogaine foam.

i would just start off with kirkland minoxidil. There are a lot of products out there that are sound new and ground breaking but are really just overpriced 5% minoxidil solutions.

You can use kirkland product for just about $4 per month by buying it online at a bunch of places. I get my stuff at solutions4hairloss.com if you dont know any places.

I used to use kirkland but the topical solutions, rogaine included made my scalp itch so I switched to rogaine foam which is more expensive because its the leading brand but it fixed that itchy scalp problem.

Then slowly add on other products to your regimen if you can afford to such as propecia, nizoral, etc. Most people use the Big 3 which is minoxidil, propecia, and a ketoconazole shampoo.

Good luck.
