Think about it man,

Would there really be two of them if one was better than the other?

It depends on factors.
Personally I would use the 1%(10mg Ketoconzole). The 1% tends to be less harsh on my scalp and since I have a family history of dry skin then it makes sense to use this version. It's usually blue and it's usually harder to find round here in Ireland.

I used to use the 2% but that sh%t is tough on my scalp and hair. I've seen it been used by people everyday who say it has had no negative effects on their hair. It's Pink and some countries needs a prescription. Since theres 20mg of Ketoconazole in it , it would probably have a better rate at thickening up the hair shaft , but if it is drying out your hair or scalp then hop off it. Having those conditions hinders hair growth and that would clearly outweigh the advantage of thicker hair shafts etc.

So really it depends on what your hair can/can't handle. Maybe you should try both and see which works better.

Here's another idea , if you have a shaved head but the 2% Nizoral cream and apply it to the scalp for 10 mins each day. There's an impressive study lurking round here somewhere of some Asians who did this a got some impressive results. :hump:

Shampooing my hair daily dries my scalp. I'd rather do the 2% and maybe shampoo less often. I think it is the detergents that dry me.
