I cant say I have noticed loads of balding young men in the UK. A few young guys, but mostly 30 somethings like myself. The baldness page on Wikipedia said Greeks and Macedonians had the highest percentile, but this was completely unattributed and cannot be relied upon.

I've never seen any studies on this, apart from one that said white males are more likely to have premature balding than black males. However, you'd have to adjust for different age profiles in different countries. Because of declining birth rates and increasing life expectancies, there are more older males in developed countries compared to developing countries. "Older" countries will have more bald men.

I think it would be a scandinavian country. Would confirm my theory that Nordic people have worse hair than other people.

Here are the "oldest" countries in the world - http://www.worldmapper.org/posters/worl ... 6_ver5.pdf

Sweden comes in at fourth, beaten by Italy, Japan and Greece. Germany is in sixth place. I'd expect all of these countries to have a lot of bald men, simply because their populations are old.

Asians have less balding than Europeans!

Are there reliable stats on that?

No, just my observation. Well, we don´t have that many Asians around here, but I can´t remember ever seeing a balding Chinese in his 20s.
