Whey Protein Isolate Powder is one of the Major Causes For Hair Loss. Dr. Shapiro states that whey protein isolate powders cause hair loss by increasing testosterone levels, and in turn, increasing DHT. Dr. Shapiro states that males experiencing hair loss should not take whey-based protein isolate supplements.

By all means, never exercise, eat cake three times a day, and take oral spironolactone and prolactin. Cut off your balls even.

You won't be a man ... but you'll have hair !!!

Protein Supplements are dangerous in itself, there is no need for average person...
Eat Eggs, and grains and its enough.(Not speaking about hairloss).

Used whey for 20+ years and hair unaffected, finasteride key to any/all stoppage though.

It's also worth mentioning that this same Dr. Shapiro sells his own whey protein concentrate supplement that he claims is hair friendly. I would like to know why isolate raises testosterone and concentrate does not according to his claims.
