Where Are All The Users Here With Good Results?

Hey guys, I am on the big 3 and have been for exactly 1 month, I have seen some shedding and no improvement but I don't expect to see any until the 4-6 month mark.

My question is, if minoxidil and finasteride have empiracle data showing the improve hair for a relatively high percentage of users. Why are these forms filled with such bad results? Aside from sparse success stories most people here seem to complain that minoxidil ruined their hair,or finasteride has had no affect or regrowth.

Do all the people with good results just stop visiting the forum?

Are people not applying minoxidil correctly or consistently?

Are people trying treatments when their hairloss is too far gone?

Lack of patience?

What are your thoughts?

Congrats on your results, just curious why the clinical results are so much more encouraging then the results in this forum

Your guess is as good as mine. Probably because most people who get their hair back feel no need to spend time on a hairloss forum

There are plenty of success stories on here though

The big 3 have restored my psychological and emotional sanity

Because people will not join the forum without their hair loss challenges IMO. Of course, there are some people who want to help and I appreciate them very much, but the majority just don't give a f*ck after their hair loss stops.

I've improved drastically. I like posting in forums in general, so I'll stick around for some time to give updates. It's nice for the community to have members who've had success to chime in still.

Five or so years on finasteride here. Hardly post anymore. finasteride works fine for me. No more loss, no side effects.

Really, what am I going to say? I don't change my regiment, worry about how my hair looks, look forward to new treatments or ask for advice. None of that matters for me anymore. I come back roughly once a year to remind everyone that finasteride works sometimes.

How many guys with zero hairloss hang out on the hairloss forums? The same reason guys with success don't stick around. The main theme of the forum is coping with hairloss, something I don't need to worry about for a long time.

Another guy here with good results. I've been on finasteride and Nizoral shampoo for over a year and a half and not only have I maintained what I had I've had some noticeable regrowth!
I know what the OP is saying though; sometimes you come here and all you seem to see is people being negative. I think it's because people who are attracted to this type of forum are feeling annoyed and frustrated and are looking for somewhere to vent their frustrations. If they do eventually get results maybe their need for this forum has ended. It's a shame really because a forum like this should be used to give others hope yet sometimes it's quite depressing to come here. Having said that there are people here with good results and positive posts - try looking in the "success stories" section for a start.....

Can I ask you and what youv been finasteride or dutasteride
I want to try dutasteride right away but iv read some horrible stories on dutasteride the hair line destroyer
Dont want to destroy whats left from hairline im 2.5 I would say
