Why r u guys telling him he looks in his 30s when u can't even see a pic of his face full on. This place just breeds insecurity.
OP u r a Norwood 2. Most people and girls won't recognize u r losing hair at this stage. If u r treating it this early already I'd say you're ahead of the curve.

Similar to me man (NW2 or 3 at 21 y/o). If there's not much crown loss or diffuse thinning then you by no means need to buzz or shave any time soon (it's a full head of hair to the unaware). I have tons of diffuse thinning up top so decided to buzz close to blend it a little. You also look like you've got the right head-shape and facial features if you ever decide to go the buzz route.
NW2 i'd saw man but at the same time some people just have that sort of hairline from the start - have you noticed your hairline come back in the corners much from say 10 years ago?
Its good that you've started treatment. I don't take finasteride but i do use RU which seems to be helping re gain some lost ground, however as some people have told me, RU is a fairly week anti-androgen . If you want to look at topical anti-androgens follow the ODM post on the anti-androgen section - some good info there.
Oh, and you don't at all look near 30 whatsoever dude. Embracing treatment now hopefully means you wont have to worry.
