I've seen a few threads about this here and there on different forums, but my question is a little different than any I've read.
I use a gradual tanning lotion several times a week and a regular, non-tanning lotion on off days. I'm going to be starting Lipogaine + 0.5mm roller, among other things, very soon, and I'm wondering when I should use the tanning lotion. I've read that the minoxidil needs to sit on the scalp for at least 4 hours to see the most benefit from it. If this were normal lotion, I would just stop at the line where I'm applying Lipogaine. I obviously can't do this with a tanning lotion though, as I'll get a weird line. Do you guys think the effectiveness of the minoxidil would be affected if I moisturize after getting out of the shower, letting the lotion dry as much as possible, and then applying it? I'm assuming the minoxidil probably soaks in better on a slightly drier scalp. If I apply lotion before, I run the risk of less absorption. If I apply after, I'm smearing the lotion into the Lipogaine.
Needless to say, I'm a bit torn on the order here or if I should just nix the tanning lotion, as much as I would rather not.
Thanks.
