when propecia works?

i took 40 pills of propecia, offcourse once a day, and here are the results:

1- at the begining i was shocked, its just gr8, my hair stopped falling dramatically, although i know it just doesnt work from the first pill, but it really did, in addition to nizoral...

2- after the 20 pill, or so, my hair started falling again, but not like before, but still falling is that normal?

3- i am using minoxidil too, so i am using 3 products, propecia,nizoral,minoxidil, as the site said, it produce gr8 results

no regrowth, when should i expect it?

and why is my hair still falling, althout its not like 3 or 2 hair, its like whenever i take a shower, 10 hair or more will be shed

according to some..u'll only know when finasteride is working once your dick stops working and u become impotent...and u grow a set of man boobs. but man, ur hair will sure look sweet!

(i'm not a finasteride hater...just love the finasteride posts)

Just stick with finasteride, takes some months to see results, minoxidil as welll.
But I advise to stay away from nizoral...its too harsh.

If you took 40 pills, I assume you're 40 days into your regimin. That's no where near enough time to decide if it works for you or not. I'd be worried if you didn't see anything by month 6 or 7, but I'd keep with your 3 treatments for a year before giving up.

Also, shedding is normal and generally a good sign.

and about side effects, i didnt encounter any side effects, but can these side effects be encountered later?
or its just when you take about 10 pills?

Hey I've had a similar response as you, although I've been on finasteride about 10 months now. Within the first two weeks my hair shedding dropped to almost 0, and I thought holy crap this is a miracle drug. After that, it quickly resumed again but at a lesser and steadier rate. I started to notice a difference at about 6 months in... now my hair looks a little better than when I started (which is good, since I only had mild diffuse thinning which I wanted to halt in its tracks).

I use nizoral 2%, rotated with T/Gel.

If you've read everything, you should know that almost everyone has some side effects with this drug. The 2 or 1% is only stated on the product.
