What do they mean by stopping shedding completely? Does it mean that they don't lose it at all? no hair fall out during the shower? no hair found on the pillow or sink?

In my case it means:No hair on the pillow. No hair will come out if challenged (pulled) - I am doing quite harsh scalp massage a few times a day.No hair will come out when applying any topical.Rarely I notice a hair will come out deliberately.Otoh:I will lose unknown amount of small hair when washing, but assume it's only few.And I will lose few hair when applying (styling) gel (which is weird). This is on the behalf of cyclooxigenase inhibitor (I presume that this is the main course of action). I have male pattern baldness since about 25 years now. My hairline is about nw2 at best and I have lost some hair counts all over the top of my scalp. I have no bald patches except in the temporal areas (what is commonly called "temples" I presume). Also the hair diameters are smaller on top than in donor. I use finasteride >10 years, until 12 days ago minoxidil >10 years, and a bunch of diy stuff over the years, currently cox inhibitors (eucalyptus, thyme) and taurine topically.

Thank you, Psyhotria for the reply! Um, I guess then I have never stopped shedding for the last 16 months of my treatment (The Big Three). It is quite depressing!! By the way, I looked cox inhibitors up on the internet and it is something to do with inflammation? how is it going?

Yeah COX inhibitors have caused some excitement lately. Most popular on this board would be Indometacin I guess. But there are many such inhibitors. It's the PGD2 (prostagladin D2) stuff from Cotsarelis et all.Personally I think that it (prostagladin inhibition) solves a big piece of the male pattern baldness puzzle, however, as male pattern baldness is multi-faceted and already known of other drugs, not all sufferers seem to profit equally from it (but this remains to be seen).
