I have been taking it every morning since 8/1/99! Should I take it before I go to bed? It only has a 1/2 life of about 5.5 hours. What is more beneficial? Can anyone help?

Thank you for your time.

I take .25mg Propecia every night before bed. My reasoning for doing it at night before bed is that by the next evening when I may be having sex it will be less "potent" in my system and thus less chance of side effects.

i take it at night before bed, only because it is hard for me to remember in the mornings when i'm rushing out the door for work. however, i've been thinking about switching to mornings and then leaving some pills at work in case i forget. the reason is not because i think mornings are more effective, but just that i always end up missing my night time dose whenever i go out drinking, which is atleast once a week.

do you think there will be any problems with suddenly switching to morning doses after a year of night time doses. i'll try to do it gradually, like by taking afternoon doses for a few weeks first.

I take mine every morning after I get up. No matter when you take it, it will become a habit and will be just another thing you do.
