When does Finasteride get out of the system??

Hey guys

Ive previousily took Prospecia/proscar over a year ago. I took it for like half a year. But I stopped as my hairloss got worse.

Ive just started it again (I wish I hadn't) . Ive been using it for 3 weeks, and my hairloss has triggered again. The reason I started using it again was cus my hairloss minimised, I didnt see alot of hair falling out. So I thought if I start using it again, I maybe able to maintain it. Howwever its had an adverse affect. seeing alot more shredding.

My question is, how long does it take to get out of the system? I have stopped using it for a week now, And I am still seeing aggressive hairloss.

medically they say 1 month, as thats how long you have to wait to give blood, however, probably less than 2 weeks, though it will take a good month for your dht levels to get back up

Finasteride is pretty much gone from your system after a couple of days. It takes a week or two for DHT levels to get back to normal.
