When do the effects of Rogaine peak?

I began using minoxidil a little less than two months ago and have been seeing quite a bit of regrowth already. According to the charts from research studies, regrowth occurs until about month 4, at which time it levels off. Hair weight also seems to level off at this point. Is this what others have experienced?

Bump. Does anyone have personal experience with this? The most widely cited studies suggest that the effects level off at month 3-4, but then on the main site I read this, which suggests a much longer timeline.

Recently, some studies using a digital phototrichogram (Trichoscan, Marburg, Germany) proved that there was indeed a quantifiable increase in shedding and a corresponding loss of hair density in the first 3 months of minoxidil use. However, by the 6 month stage the subjects were shown to have regrown the lost hair and had increased hair density compared to that recorded at the start of treatment. By 12 months after starting minoxidil use their hair density was much improved and the diameter of the hair fibers was thicker than at the start of treatment and as compared to controls who did not receive treatment.

I can't find the study online, but I didn't have much to go by. I realize I'm being impatient, but it's just one of those things that would be nice to know so I can assess progress.

I don't think it works like that. If I remember the graph I seen correctly regrowth peaks around 12 months, definitely not 4 but regrowth may be seen at month 4. S if you are having good results now stick with it, it should get better.

that cant be true that it peaks at month 12 .as im just seeing gains at month 13 .or are u saying my minor thickening is from finasteride.its not even cosmetic.but i hope it will thicken up alot more

If you are on finasteride as well you should just ignore any studies on minoxidil alone since they are not valid for your situation.

When you are reducing dht, minoxidil works much better with longer lasting results.

ben just a question.im nearly month 14 finasteride and foam.and i just noticed a tiny amount of thickening at 13 months.with it being this late in the day do u think its the finasteride that caused it.reason i ask is most people see rogaine working at a few months in.

Truth. Your experience may differ from others. Most of the success stories seem to happened in different time frames. Some at the one month mark, some at the 12 month mark.

Don't be too disheartened.

Rogaine is a textile exit direction for men and women that activity by revitalizing material follicles and invigorating growing. In 1992, a variant for women was released. The activated fixings in Rogaine is rogaine. As it reinvigorates contracted whisker follicles, the follicles increment in filler. Tests change resulted in thicker filament ontogenesis from these freshly excited follicles for many women.
