I started losing my hair about 8 months and would be ecstatic if I could just keep what I have right now. I am curious as to whether there is any correlation between when people with male pattern baldness began to treat their problem and success rates. I've just began running a stack of Azelaic Acid 5%, minoxidil 5%, and spironolactone 5% about a month ago. I also ordered proscar and am taking some shen min saw palmetto pills.

I started finding more hairs in the shower/sink about 7 months ago. Started treatment (finasteride/nizoral/tricomin) 6 weeks ago. It's too early to tell, but it's already looking like my hair is reacting.

I won't jump to conclusions though.

Same as you, I still have a full head of hair and am aiming for maintenance.

Hmmmm, actively, I started almost three years ago. Though before that I was contemplating using different topical treatments and the big three. I stopped short though of the big three as heart challenges run on my side of the family so I didn't want to take any chances:( If it qualifies for treating my male pattern baldness, I did use things like Biotin shampoo and hair thickening shampoos but nothing solid like I am now.
