When did you notice improvement on minoxidil?

I'm using 5% minoxidil (around 1.5-2 months in; approx. 1.5mL/night) and I've been down lately on my appearance and wanted to know when some of you noticed growth.

Don't really follow to see for any shedding, it looks like it may have shed a little but nothing too noticeable. I know I have to give it six months, just asking...

Are you using it once or twice perday. Once perday is mainly for maintaining after you have been on the twice a day application for 18-24 months.

Most people will start to see new hairs pop up in the first 1-2 moths but the majority wont start to show for 3-4 months

I'm only using once a day because there's no way I can go to work with that wet mess on my head, and I heard some people had great results using it nightly.

Again, I might be seeing some small results but I don't really follow my progression. Let's just say the big picture isn't where I want it to be just yet.

I saw results after like 3 or 4 months only when using it twice a day religiously. You should really try to apply twice a day, the foam dries up in a few seconds.

Yeah go for the Foam it drys really quick then just style as usuall,
or just use the minoxidil liquid at night and the Foam in the morning
and it'll last longer and work out cheaper

I use 3% minoxidil and am seeing results within the 2 first months. by results i mean very tiny hairs growing where it used to be like the palm of my hand.
also there were a little bit shedding in temples area where i use it.

now the real question is, what percentage of these tiny small hairs will grow and make a cosmetic effect? any suggestions/experiences?

Today is exactly my 2 month mark for 5% twice daily application. I notice a ton of tiny little white hairs all over my temples and probably on the top of my head too (harder to see, since I still have some hair up there). Overall I dont notice great progress but I am hopeful by month 3/4 these tiny hairs will become "real."

A little side question, It might just be my imagination but it looks almost like the hairs I do have, have been getting thinner? Is this normal?

I just started finasteride today, so hopefully that will help. Good luck brothers.
