When did you guys start to lose you hair?

Man I started losin my hair when I was in 8th grade. Just lost all the baby fat and was at my peak cause my good looks where comin through when all of a sudden I wasn't able to spike my hair any more. f***. Only 13 years old and goin through this shiite. Whatever just wonderin when you guys started to go bald?

Im 17 now by the way and im losin it all pretty quickly so to anyone who says they are too young to be losin thier hair forget about it. And don't feel bad cause there is always someone worse off than you.

But I've always hated my hair. I could never get my hair to do what I wanted to do. I finally faced the hard fact at around 19 that I had been thinning alot for a few years by then. It sucks, and I've always let it get me down, but I'm tryin to change my attitude.

And i didn't. I fighted. minoxidil, Propecia, Nizoral. Did all I could. I'm 27 and I've got lets say 30% less hair. But it still looks nice. Propecia did well for me. start using Nizoral and minoxidil till you'r 20 or 21 and then go on propecia. If you can delay it for 8-10 years, i bet that science will get a long term solution. By the way, when i see guys that and better hair than me 6 years ago and got balder than me it feels realy nice!!!

How long have you been using finasteride (Propecia) taxi? How have your results been? Did you maintain what you had when you started? Regain? Or gradually lose hair?

I noticed that mine got thinner at 25/26. The only real step I took was buying a boar bristle brush and started using it twice a day because I heard that it helps and I think it did help to an extent. Hair loss can happen at any age. There was a kid at school who started losing it at 15/16. It was the worst case I'd ever seen. By the time he was 18 he had practically lost most of it on top. I felt really bad for him and still do. It's bad enough to start losing it in your 20s but to start losing it in your mid teens while youre still at school would just be inexpressibly horrible.
