What's with Nizoral 1%?

So I live in Austin, TX and I've been going from store to store to find Nizoral 1% and every store tells me the same thing -- we are out and are no longer carrying it. So, when I got back home I looked online and CVS, Walmart, Amazon,etc. are all out of stock. Does anybodyd know what's going on with this product?

If I recall...I have heard that the folks who make Nizoral make it a bit difficult for stores to carry it as they require large bulk and expensive orders.

Do you have any suggestions on where to look to buy it then? I'm going to a Walmart near my place that has ONE bottle left , so hopefully it's still there when I get there.

Amazon is low on stock as well.. Also, they are charging $35 a bottle? Is that normal for this product?

Walgreens -- Not available online
Target -- Out of stock online
Dermadoctor -- Backordered

WTF is going on??

Yeah I went to Walgreens .. they said they didn't have any in stock for 4-5 months.. Called Target-- said they discontinued this product and sold the last few a few weeks earlier. I haven't tried Costco but just from the stores I have mentioned, doesn't this seem a bit odd?
