What is this part of hair called?

I've been a member for so many years, but I just don't know this.

I think those aren't temple points, because temple points are the corners of the hairline? (Correct me if I'm wrong, please). I just want to get my terminology right.

Yep, temporal points are what shapes the face nicely. Once they're gone, the face is just... fat and ruined.

Many Drs reference them as temporal points, others as temple points, not to be confused with the temples. A very important aspect in my opinion.
