Whats the word on Nioxin?

I was at the hair stylist today and they told me I should try Nioxin. It comes with a shampoo, conditioner, and scalp treatment. She said she uses it and knows other people who use it and have had great results. It is not suppose to grow more hair but make the thinning hair thicker and add volume to the hair. They had a starter kit for half off and I bought it. I would like to know what people on here think about it. Doesn't seem to be too many people using it. Any thoughts?

I used the Nioxin starter pack 1 for about 5 months. I noticed it made my hair healthy and scalp feel better but it does nothing for hair regrowth which is what I was looking for. Check my regimen to see what I'm using now.

The hair stylist told me the the same thing and that it works better then rogaine. Wrong! Just a good up sell for them to make money. Don't get me wrong its an awsome thickining shampoo but does not regrow hair sorry to say. I had great success with Propecia and Rogaine.
