why do people act like its doomsday? Is there really any information out there that shows after five years proscar stops working? or ddoesnt work as well?

DR lee seems to think my hair loss has stabalized by now after 6 years on the big 3 I assume he means that i can keep and maintain the hair i have for a very long time while on products?

Probably just a "reputation" psychological effect of the old Propecia 5 year study which showed (bryan correct me on this if necessary) that results plateau'd and slightly began to decline for some people at the 5 year mark. Keeping in mind that the vast majority continued to see results, when the "line" on the graph starts to slant downwards, people spend the next 10 years assuming it will do the same for them.

So maybe this has contributed to the "5 year dip" concern.

For the majority Finasteride only slows the process.

My guess is about the 5 year mark you'll see the decline about to happen.
