What's the best way to take pictures?

Hey.

How do you guys think is the best way to take pics of your hair? I mean, without flash you often see nothing/not enough, with flash the picture could be better/worse. than it really is.

Any advide? Maybe natural sunlight without flash? Especially for the crown.

Outside is good, as then you are seeing your hair as everyone else views it.

Don't use an up close shot with a flash. You'll see mostly scalp and scare the hell out of yourself.

I agree. It seems like sunlight distorts the photos sometimes though. Overcast weather is ideal.

guilty as charged but there's only so far sum1 can raise their hand up in the air to take a photo & if u dont use flash u dont see anything.
