What's Going On On This Guy's Head?

Just saw this guy on tv and I couldn't look away from his hairline.
Looks like a transplant, even has the lines drawn on his forehead but it's so weird. Doesn't look recent?!

Looks like a hair transplant to me - if he grew it out another inch you wouldnt be able to tell

Guys, yes. It is clearly a transplant, but why is the marker still on his head? This looks like month 7.

It looks like he had an appointment, the doctor drew him a potential new thick hairband in the front where he would get new grafts and then he went to the interview. It's so weird.

It's too blue to be a forehead reduction surgery imo. Speaking of, it's a dramatic measure but I think it can look really good. If you plan to wear your hair down, it's possibly a better solution than a transplant. It's rarely discussed on here as it is indeed a more drastic step and the scar is, well, there. But what do you guys think?
