What’s a good hat I can wear at the beach?

I’m thinking of a straw one, but one of the more fashionable ones like the one attached. I sometimes can’t stand the sun hitting my face, and I hate doubling up on hair spray to combat the breeze. Would this hat cause lifting? I have yet to wear any kind of hat with my system.

I wear a regular snapback type flat brim cap, just looser over a hair system in the sun.
Or a beanie in colder weather.

I rarely wear hats (in the pre-system days I would on days I didn't want to wear concealors), but the few times I have it (even more than I expected) did not really lift nor affect my system. In one case I went to an indoor go kart racing place and now because of covid in addition to the helmet your rent they put this weird very tight 'head sock' over you that you throw away after. I was worried about that but even that didn't really affect it. Enjoy!

I say; go for the good old baseball cap. It's common and a mainstay for a reason. It just works, and works well.

Just make sure to avoid the flat brim baseball caps. Because, it's non-functional (doesn't keep the sun off your face) and people will view you as having low IQ. You'll be too worried about what others think while wearing it.

That's true, I agree. I was talking more about the hat's material and weight. Something that doesn't weigh down on the system. Not to get a smaller hat.

I think it's the opposite. Big hat makes head look bigger.

It's also important to take into account not just the size of the head but also the shape too.
