What year can we REALISTICALLY expect better treatments?

2020? lol. What year can we HONESTLY, and I don't mean the exact year but an estimated timeframe, that we'll be moved on from finasteride/minoxidil/nizoral route, onto something better?

Because for the last decade or so, it's been the same stuff.

And will hair transplants ever lower in price?

It's frustrating, but it seems like hair transplants are the only sureway to go unfortunately.

propecia/rogaine/nizoral if anything just seem to be stabilizing

I don't want to turn into psychology, but what a typical selfish, self-preserving, all me, none for you, human reaction. :p :p

Don't set us back into the dark age mate!

I'm all for saving hair, but let's not fall back into prehistoric human nature patterns either :-D

harrrrrrrrrrrr! GET offf my property or i club you! harrr! :p :p

But I guess we're all pretty much like that, or else we wouldnt be here devoting so much time to hair.

It would take a major change of technique to make hair transplant's cheaper. As long as the grafts are being divided and implanted by hand it will always be expensive simply because its so time consuming and labour intensive. :(

so typical hair transplants cost how much for one session?

If you have good medical insurance can it at least cover some of the costs like hospital, etc?

no...none of it is cover by insurance...and it depends who you go to, how many grafts, the technique...if you want to go see dr. armani in toronto, widely considered one of the best...its gonna cost you a pretty penny ;)

Are you joking? 2000 - 3000 grafts for a silver dollar size area which is only thinning?

WZUP GLOBAL,
well, actually that was told to me when i sent the pictures in 2006 of feb..
however, i had my surgery for the front this year jan. 2007... so when i when a few months ago for the surgery, i failed to mention about the second surgery.. Shane told me that Armani said that he will make the determination once he sees me for my surgery in July of this year because he noticed that i was thickening a little in the crown...
i have to set the records straight, from the pics over a year ago, it looked like i need 2000-3000 grafts for original looking density in zone 3 and 4, but since then the meds worked and he told me that he would tell me how many offically in person the day before surgery.
thanks
