I dont know what pgd 2 does. If you stopped all androgens you would stop male pattern baldness but not really regrow much hair just like castrated men. Castration is a perfect model of the importance of androgens in male pattern baldness, and I still think things like body hair growth are a sign of androgen activity. Most women I know dont look like chewbacca so I think hair growth is related to androgens
We really need to see more research on receptors, and more powerful AAs to really see if male pattern baldness can be prevented completely. I think it can like that twins picture of those guys on dutasteride, but they started before male pattern baldness not after. You have to prevent it you cant do it later on
