What Wil Happen If You Don't Have Androgenetic Alopecia But.....

Hi, here's the deal. I have been prescribed Finasteride after my blood tests came back normal. I have diffuse hair loss and no hairline recession. However I don't fully trust the blood test because I am 100% sure at least my Vitamin D has to be low because I never get the sun that much. So I suspect the blood test.

Anyways my main question is if my hair loss is not Androgenetic Alopecia and I take Finasteride what will happen? Will it still work?

The reason I ask is because there aren't many good dermatologist where I am so I want to start finasteride by getting an online prescription .
