What was the first thing you ever did for hairloss???

Back before I began rogaine, it was Rx only, and Propecia didn't exist, so what I did was read up in books and got Fo Ti. Did nothing. Then I got this jojoba based shampoo that was red in color, and used that, it claimed it prevented excessive hairloss. obviously this stuff didn't work because i got hair transplant.

some crappy remedy i got at the nature shop with a spray for the hair and a vitamin and mineral suply that costed about $100 a month.
Not cheap for a high school student... and it did nothing for me.
Damn assholes making fortune on young desperete people who deosnt know what to do. should be a law against them selling crap with no scientific proven 5 years result. and it made my hair smell funny, aloy worse then the rogain foam.

i bought a bottle of regaine from boots online. before i found this site it was the only thing id heard of. i used it for two months expecting it to work straight away like you do then i found about finasteride from this site.
two and half years ago wow.

Fabao 101D- sounded too good to be true- it was so good it did nothing. Stuck with it for 8 months, then went to Revivogen for another 8 months, now I am finally on something that actually works- minoxidil and finasteride

how do you know that finasteride and minoxidil are working for you ,you have only been on them since june,way too early to be able to tell unless you are a super responder

I searched info from the Internet and first bought some shampoos that did nothing. Then about half a month later I got a prescription for finasteride and started taking it. That was 15 months ago.

I know- put it this way, I had to use concealer before, now I dont. I could post some pics. I last posted pics on the 18th August. I am going to wait until the three month point then show you all the success I have had.

The first thing I did was read up everything I could about hairloss. This site was a god send. For about two months, I was in denial. I thought it was something else. I did "scalp exercises" hoping that would help. Obviously it did not. Then for about 2 more months, I used Saw Palmetto. The after reading numerous stories on this site about people who wished they jumped on the proven treatments earlier, I jumped on finasteride and started using Tricomin and Nizoral.
