I've been on something called Actigener Strong for few months. It stimulates blood flow and is suppose to help with growth. Not sure yet if it's helping or not. Anyone here tried it?

I've noticed a lot of you use Nizoral shampoos. Would you say those are the best ones for growth?

Stick with nizoral and save your money. I just checked Actigener Strong Shampoo online and it seems like something that wouldn't do much. I don't read Dutch but I was able to figure out the ingredient list and it doesn't have anything that would be able to regrow hair. Nizoral is your best bet. There were studies saying that 2% katekomazole is as effective as 2% minoxidil but don't expect top much from it.

If I remember correctly they had pretty good statistics in the manual that came with it. But that's of course something that comes from them. I haven't been able to find studies. So perhaps you're right.

It works great on dandruff though but from what I hear Nizoral does that as well.

Thanx for the help :)

I wouldn't take seriously any studies/statistics that come from the company that manufacture the product. I check ingredient list and I didn't see anything that would regrow hair or slow down hairloss.

The only shampoo on the market that I believe it's beneficial is shampoo that contain katekonazol, but don't spent your money on some fancy stuff just go for Nizoral.

As the other poster stated just stick with Nizoral.
Has anyone tried Alpecin? Is there any valid science behind it please?

I heard that in studies cafeïne could promote hairgrowth but I wouldn't bet on it.

Bought Dermatin 20 mg/g.

I have actually used it before for dandruff with great results so I have no problem using it again :)
