What type of applicator do you use to apply liquid adhesive?

Seen a few videos such as Curtis where he just uses his finger. What works best - paint brush / plastic spatula?

I currently use Walker Tape Ultra Hold adhesive (only for the front my central parting, and tape for the rest) which has its own application brush built into it. In the past, I've also used small application brushes which I bought from Hair Direct (they look like small makeup brushes, and indeed those would do just fine). I've also used wooden spatulas (regular size), which I bought from Sally Beauty in a box of 100.

It doesn't matter what you use to apply the glue as long as it works for you.

I think it depends on the adhesive but for acrylic glue these work amazingly well for me:

I usually just put cotton wool on the end once done then when I need to use it again, get the cotton wool off with IPA and use it again.

I have limited experience with white glues but a silicone brush worked well when I was experimenting with them.
