The shedding you were experiencing while on minoxidil may have been a good thing, it may have been kicking out the weak hairs to make room for healthier and thicker ones. Nizoral shampoo is always an option too.

Propecia is your best bet, sorry. You can try spironolactone or Revivogen. The verdict on those is unsure to the best of my knowledge. Or some experimental stuff. There is something new out called Folexen, people are excited about. We have no success stories yet, but has only been on the market a month or so.

topical antiandrogens, like RU58841. sure, there can be some side, but it should not be as severe as systemic 5ar inhibition.
