Hey guys,

just wondering if there were any topicals you would recommend to someone who doesn't want to use minoxidil.

I'm specifically interested in growth promoters.

Are there any bimatoprost products available to the public?

Anybody know anything about topical melatonin to induce growth? Are there any hair growth formulations currently available that employ topical melatonin? (Here's an article referring to melatonin as a possible hair loss treatment http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/805516_3)

Thanks.

Adenosine (Adenogen) or Stemoxydine (Neogenic). Expensive stuff though, I think there is a cheaper alternative to Neogenic containing Stemoxydine but I don't use it so can't confirm.

Bimatoprost is a waste of time.

Thanks Dench!

After doing some reading on this forum I was under the impression that the general consensus on this website was that Stemoxydine is a scam. Is this not the case?

I'm hoping someone with extensive knowledge/experience can answer this question. Money is not in the least bit a concern. Not that I'm rich, just that I'm willing to spend my last dime for some improvement.

I read that even in the study done by the manufacturers, only 4% increase in density was noted. This doesn't sound like a lot. Do you think it would make a difference?

Can you tell me more about adenosine? Is it a growth promoter or does it inhibit DHT?
