What to try next?

Hello all, I am looking for suggestions to add to my regime. Unfortunately the laser comb has really scared me from experimenting with new treatments.

I'm 35 and have used finasteride and minoxidil for 10 years. I feel it has helped slow my hair loss....I've never noticed any regrowth, but I think it has helped. (by comparison my brother started thinning at the same age as I did, hasn't used a thing and is now a solid NW4. I'm currently a NW2, but in the last couple of years I have noticed an increase in hairline thinning. (minimal crown thinning, mostly hairline) I added laser comb about a year and a half ago, and experienced massive shedding. I stuck with it nearly a year based on "shedding indicates that it's working, new hairs will take their place, yada yada yada.....but I continued to have lots of shedding with zero positive results. Since quitting the laser comb my shedding is way better, but still more than I ever had before the comb. I'm now on the fast track toward NW2A.

Any suggestions on new treatments to try. I want to add Nizoral but like I said before, I'm petrified of triggering new shedding. I'm also interested in topical spironolactone, which according to my research hasn't caused shedding for most people, but is suspect as to wether it works or not. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Topical spironolactone is more likely to cause a shed than nizoral but from what i know neither cause shedding in most cases at least. What finasteride and minoxidil are you using ?
