What side effects could happen to a 16 year old taking finasteride?

Can Propecia cause developmental issues? I already have no sex drive, so, I wouldn't be able to tell a difference if I do have this side effect. I'm just worried that blocking DHT would result in developmental issues, being that I'm experiencing this sh*t so young.

If not finasteride, I'll probably try a shampoo my dermatologist recommended that claimed to safely inhibit DHT in the scalp. But, finasteride seems like the best option, I just, don't want to be more of a headcase/sexually-misfortunate.

I wouldn't reccomend it. I'd wait until ur fully developed b4 u use it, and even then its not the best thing to use.

anyone that suggests it to a 16 yr old is being unethical in my opinion.

but by all means try the topical one. Good luck.

Your dick could fall off.

The main concern is the uncertainty of blocking DHT in a still developing male. Probably best using spironolactone for the time being.

Stay off the finasteride until you're done growing, so probably in the 18-20 range. Until then you can use rogaine, spironolactone (the CREAM, not the pills), nizoral, and stuff like that.
