Hi all
Posted my story on the relevant forum and now i'm looking for answers.If i take finasteride what will be the effect on my hair if i do not have male pattern baldness.Furthermore does anyone know a good and cheap supplier in England.If it is not male pattern baldness but an overactive immune system that is destroying my hair does anyone have any ideas how to calm it down.Any suggestions gratefully received as i have a full head of hair on one side and only 30% on the other which looks ridiculous

I would go see a DR about your hairloss iif you dont think it male pattern baldness

Still unsure but hair is disappearing quickly so i may as well give it a try
Now do i do Finasteride or Dutasteride.
Also has anyone used a herb called gotu-kola or a product called bovine colostrum the latter of which can supposedly raise IGF-1 levels and also regulate immune system activity.Not sure if these are baseless selling points or not though.

That does NOT sound like male pattern baldness to me. If it is not male pattern baldness, then finasteride would be a waste. I suggest seeing a dermatologist about your hairloss.

Just kidding. I would go see a Doctor ASAP and have him get a look at your head.

My own thinking is that it is Seb Derm as i have reddish patches of inflamed skin which itch and flake if touched.As i do itch and rub them the hair is falling out under the vigorous rubbing and not regrowing due to the bad environment.As seb derm is caused by DHT enriched sebum would finasteride or dutasteride not help
