Hi all. I posted yesterday as well for some opnions, but I did a little research and would love some feedback.

I looked at the Norwood and I would say that I am about a 3V. No total baldness on the crown, but fairly thinn all over the top. I really dont care about my lowering my receding hairline, that is not an issue to me. I would LOVE to fill in the top of my head though.

I went to Dr. Lee's site and did some research. I think he said that Xandrox makes using propecia unnecesary. Has anyone had any experience with that?

Also, from what I have seen on this page and others this is my attack plan.

1. Propecia
2. Xandrox with the Retin/A
3. Nizorol
4. T-gel

What do you guys think? Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated!!!

I'd say start off with the propecia then add in regualr generic 5% minoxidil. The xandrox is good stuff, but it costs a lot more money. I would only add in the xandrox if you cannot deal with the itchiness and greasiness of generic minoxidil. And of course nizoral.

I would second that notion .finasteride, with minoxidil is quite the potent attack .I would add a copper peptide product also because minoxidil's behavior and copper peptide are very beneficial to each others cause and effect .This I consider the "big four" regime .More angles of attack the better .Personally I believe the "big four" produces almost twice the results apposed to the "big three" but thats just my opinion .

Xandrox with Retin A? Watch out for the Retin A. It can cause problems with a lot of irritation and peeling. Use it at night of course, not during the day when you'll be exposed to sunlight. Xandrox is very good though. I use xandrox 5% and xandrox 15% and have had great success. If you don't believe me about the irritation with the Retin A, e-mail Dr. Lee about it and he'll more than likely tell you the same.

Thanks guys. I think I will try out the Retin A because it makes sense to peel some skin in order to access more folicles.

Is it the Nizorol that helps with the irritaion?

Also, where can I get the copper-peptides? Is that a supplement?

Thanks again!

try either tricomin or revitalize copper peptide .A search on google will give results for both .They are sprays .Also want to ad that I experience flaking and scaling(peeling) from minoxidil but that isn't a bad thing (visual of course it is)for vellus (very fine hairs) hairs but my job allows me to wear a hat so incase I develope a flake I don't get embaressed .

Yes nizoral will help with the irritation and it is supposed to be an anti-androgen as well. You can get it at http://www.minoxidil.com from Dr. Lee. It is called regrowth shampoo on his website. I use it every other day.
As for copper-peptides, it is a topical spray or you can also get the lotion or cream versions as well( Iprefer the spray because it is easier to apply and it also has a stonger source of copper in it). The best copper-peptide treatment is Folligen. I use it and I totally love it. You can get it at http://www.folligen.com . I would stay away from tricomin because it has had a very bad reputation for irritating your scalp and having very little effect on hairloss. Stick with folligen. Many people hate tricomin.

hey kalika, I was at the folligen site.. Which one do you use and when do you apply it, before or after the minoxidil?

I use the topical spray since it is supposed to have a higher copper content than the lotion and cream versions. I apply it after the minoxidil( might want to let the minoxidil dry first) and after the folligen application I apply the emu oil. Emu oil is supposed to be good for hair and scalp and it helps shove more folligen into scalp. It'll probably help minoxidil absorb better too I would suppose. If the topical spray causes irritation just dilute some with water(50/50 mixter) then apply it. After your scalp gets use to it, then go to the origional strength. I've never had to dilute it because it never caused any irritation. Try that.
