You don't really fit the scale since you look to be diffuse thinning. Hairline still looks intact. Maybe 3A for now.

Jump on finasteride if you want to hold onto what you have.

i had a prescription for finasteride but didn't toke it because i have soon exam and didn"t wanted to risk my school year, so i just bought minoxidil and applying in front maybe i should apply to the whole head ???
and i am planing getting on finasteride when my school is over if i can get my hair a little thicker, that would do the trick to me or just have it like this i guess it isn't that bad

Going from those pictures, Norwood 1.5 absolutely nowhere near nw3. I am a nw2 and my frontal hairline is more receeded than yours.

minoxidil afaik can cause a shed at first, as weakened hairs fall out. Honestly, I am a major Norwood spotter, but if I saw you in real life, I would not think you were balding :)

I said he's thinning in that pattern. He's not there yet, but he will be if he doesn't do anything about it.

Really we would need better pictures with the hairline pulled right back. I have ever so slightly thinning hair in a norwood 4/5 pattern, which if I lost it all, I would be either of them, but as the hair is still there, I am a Norwood 2.

tbh my hair is pretty thin, even as kid well always, my father is nw5 at 44, he went straight to nw4 at 20 and didn't progressed to much, thats why i am asking here if i should take propecia or not, maybe i am going to stick with minoxidil and takes picture every 3 months if i see some bad progress, will probably bite the bullet
will try to post tomorrow a better picture with higher quality

Well, as of today, it's the only thing that can actually stop your hair loss.

If you want to hold onto your hair, you need to seriously consider it.

Early intervention is critical.

Slightly past a Norwood 2 gaining speed on Norwood 3.

5-10 mm temple recession and some crown thinning for a Norwood 3 as of yet.
