What??? Why do you think that?

My hair actually was Norwood 4 in January. I had a huge bald spot.

See for yourself:

I see. Was just basing my observations of that one picture.

What's your regimen and future plans regarding your follicular challenge?

Do you think I'm at a point where I can still grow my hair long (shoulder length) without fear of looking foolish or obviously balding? I am on Propecia 1mg a day and have been since last April (2015).

Were you going to slick it back? If so you will always be in danger of some prick calling you out for your balding. I'm sure you could grow it long and wear it in such a manner that would conceal your hairline if you wanted...density still looks decent from those pictures

No, I wasn't going to slick it back. I just had it back to show the hairline to you guys for you guys to make a more accurate assessment. I do have a touchy question, and I want an honest answer. At face value, in the slicked back picture, do I look like I have a receding hairline; or given the volume of my hair, could it be mistaken for a mature hairline?

Solid nw2-nw2.5 with very good density. You can do your hair however you want at this point and no one will bat an eye. I promise you, if someone does, take a good look at their head of hair and you'll realize they only called you out for their own personal struggle with hair loss. You started finasteride at a good time brotha.

My hair is a little worse than yours and I grew it out, never been called out on it but I do hide my temples

Yeah, I have very weak temple points (I think that's what they're called anyway - the little > shaped points above the ears). One is okay - it was almost gone but finasteride restored it to a livable degree. The other is very weak. The hairloss actually seems to have attacked the right (my right) side of my head more aggressively than my left.

That's exactly how mine are. My right is Norwood three. My left is actually an inch
less, and a Norwood 2.

May i please see the pic of when you had a bald spot on your crown area?...i'd like to assess how much 30% minoxidil has done for your vertex.
Not only that, but did you say you've been on & off minoxidil since you were young? :)
