I'm getting a prescription for finasteride tomorrow. Is it normal to be having hair like this at 21? I'm terrified that my chronic stress somehow accelerated the balding progress at put me here at 21 when really I should been here at 25 or something. You know what I'm saying? I have generalized anxiety disorder and am not exaggerating to say that I am ALWAYS nervous and uptight.

I could go on the "big 3" but I only have so much money. I'm thinking I just want to try Propecia for now and once I stabilize my hair loss, then I can go on Rogaine or something as well. Who knows, maybe I'll get lucky with Propecia and get my hairline back. Or that's what I'm hoping anyway...hehe

nw3 looks about right. now stop posting the same stuff. get a finasteride prescription, and forget about it.

I'd say 2.5 depending on the density of the middle anterior area of hair.

Got on finasteride today...1 mg per day.
Doctor made it sound like I will probably get some thickening on top, but she didn't think I would be able to grow back my temples. That's what she told me. I didn't ask. Hopefully she just told me that since Merck just says it grow on top because that's the only place they tested for it...

Here's hoping for some kind of insane regrowth miracle, and if not, at least I will maintain until I have enough money to jump on Rogaine as well at a later date.
